Editorial policy
Clear News Dispatch aims to explain news language and reporting choices accurately, fairly and in plain English. Our work should help readers ask better questions, not tell them what conclusion to reach.
Accuracy and evidence
We check factual statements against suitable sources and make clear what kind of evidence supports a point. We distinguish quotation, interpretation and established fact, and avoid presenting an inference as a confirmed detail. When a subject is changing, we identify uncertainty rather than smoothing it away.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for the publication’s readers. A commercial relationship does not buy a favourable assessment or control over independent editorial coverage. We do not invent sources, events, credentials, statistics or first-hand reporting.
Corrections
If a published piece contains a material error, we review the concern and correct the text when warranted. We aim to make meaningful corrections clear to readers rather than silently leaving a misleading account in place. Readers can send a correction through the Contact page.
Partners and illustrations
Paid, supplied or partner material is clearly identified as such and kept distinct from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where relevant, the image or its caption will say so. Illustrations are not evidence for a factual claim.
